Requirements

  • Malaysian citizen with at least SPM or equivalent qualification.
  • Possess a valid driving license (GDL) for 3 Ton, 20 Footer and 40 Footer truck.
  • Have at least 2 years of experience in commercial driving, especially in interstate and border transportation.
  • Understand and comply with road safety and transportation regulations.
  • Ability to communicate well in Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Willing to work at the Shah Alam location.
  • Able to work full-time and according to the set schedule.
  • Have a good driving record and no serious traffic offenses.

Responsibilities

  • Drive lorries safely and efficiently to transport goods within the state, across states and borders according to the established schedule.
  • Ensure compliance with all road safety regulations and transport laws of Malaysia and the countries involved in the transport.
  • Conduct daily inspections of lorries, including oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes, and report any damage or maintenance needs to supervisor.
  • Ensure goods are loaded and unloaded correctly and safely, and secure the load to prevent damage during transport.
  • Manage transport documents carefully, and ensure all documents are complete and accurate.
  • Communicate effectively with shippers, customers, and warehouse staff to ensure smooth delivery and resolve any problems that arise.
  • Maintain accurate driving records, including distance traveled, fuel consumption, tolls, and delivery times, and submit periodic reports to management.
