Lendlease is currently searching for an experienced Planning Engineer to join the Project Management & Construction team on a 1-year fixed term contract.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :
Developing complete integrated project bid schedules from first principles and all associated basis documentation and review content for a full EPCM project life cycle.
Managing and directing all the planning and schedule functions for a large-scale project.
Developing and maintaining project schedules using Critical Path Method (CPM) principles and techniques utilising Primavera P6 software.
Running QSRA assessments on project schedule to support active risk management approach.
Collecting as-built information, assessing progress data supplied by others and performing visual inspections.
Assembling data from variety of sources ( benchmarking content, contract documents, logistics plans, construction project management team, architects and engineers, clients, sub-contractors).
Preparing strategic schedule updates and schedule option assessments.
Assessing project impacts and / or delays, preparing Time Impact Analysis.
Leading project teams in preparation of Project Planning & Status Reports.
Producing cost and resource loaded CPM schedules and effectively applying EVM principles.
Ensuring all planning and scheduling activities such as schedule development, logistics plans, update progress reporting and problem analysis activities comply with client and Lendlease requirements.
Providing consultation to company personnel, and other project stakeholders in planning and schedule analysis providing options for problem solutions.
Utilising 3D / BIM models for checking schedule completeness and accuracy and as an aid for schedule communication.
Assisting with the training, development and upskilling of the planning & scheduling team for career growth.
Promoting a positive team environment and a collaborative approach to problem solving.
Performing additional assignments as required.
Construction management or engineering qualifications, supported by experience in a planning and programming role on major construction projects will be essential.
Expertise with Primavera P6 and application of CPM techniques is mandatory.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, are central to the role.
