Ajinomoto (Malaysia) BhdMYFood Production Internship Job Description
We are looking for high caliber candidates to join the production team on a 6 months Internship Program. If you aspire to develop your career in food manufacturing, we welcome you to join our vibrant team.
The intern will be based in Enstek Plant, reporting to deputy head of production department. You will have the opportunity to work across the different section in the production area.
Production Intern Responsibilities :
1. Assist to supervise the production processes, ensuring quality work is done in a safe, efficient manner.
2. Help section to maintain food safety and quality implementation
3. Collect and analyse operational data to drive productivity
4. Work on continuous improvement activities that help to improve the current operation processes and systems
5. Actively participate in group meeting discussions and continuous improvement.
6. Collaborate with section executive whenever possible to achieve both operational and project goals.
7. Keeping abreast of advancements in engineering and production, and sharing knowledge with members.
8. Identifying, documenting, and reporting unsafe practices and provide idea for good practices.
9. Support to update and improve current Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and Work Instruction (WI) by observing actual operation at each section.
10. Supporting production team for OSH, EMS and Food Safety patrol and improvement activity
Production Intern Requirements :
- Degree in engineering (Major in Food Manufacturing)
- Experience with CAD software (not compulsory but advantage if have)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Words & Powerpoint).
- Analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- English written and verbal communication skills.
