Job descriptionA diploma in a trade from a recognized vocational school Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems Ability to determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job and to monitor gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly. Attention to Detail — Job requires being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks. Dependability — Job requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations. Initiative — Job requires a willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges. Cooperation — Job requires being pleasant with others on the job and displaying a good-natured, cooperative attitude. Integrity — Job requires being honest and ethical. Physically capable and available to work overtime including weekends, public holidays and evenings
The position of Maintenance Technician with in-depth knowledge of maintenance procedures, electrical systems, heating, and ventilation systems, plumbing and equipment installation
Good problem-solving skills and performed all duties in an organized manner with effective communication.
Overview
General duties & responsibilities includes but not limited to the following :
Responsibilities
- Inspect buildings, equipment and systems to identify and issues
- Repair faulty equipment units and damaged structures
- Assist in the development in maintenance procedures
- Assist with heating and plumbing systems to guarantee functionality
- Plan and schedule repairs
- Conduct periodic quality checks on equipment and systems for conformity
- Perform general maintenance tasks including landscaping, painting and carpentry
- Assist in maintaining inventory records for equipment and supplies
