Senior Auditor - Insurance

Forvis Mazars Asia Pacific Services Sdn Bhd is seeking zealous and aspiring individuals to join our Audit team. The position is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Overview

We are hiring talents for audit, accounting & payroll. The successful candidate will work closely with team members and under guidance from superiors on audit engagements, including planning, performing, and concluding engagements, while managing client relationships and expectations to nurture ongoing business.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage statutory audit engagements for insurance clients (life, general, or reinsurance).
• Plan, execute, and review audit fieldwork in accordance with firm methodologies and international auditing standards (ISA).
• Assess the accuracy and completeness of financial statements, focusing on insurance-specific areas such as premiums, claims reserves, reinsurance, and policy liabilities.
• Evaluate clients’ internal control environments and identify potential areas of improvement.
