JOB PURPOSE
Support project risk assessments, conduct due diligence, gather data, and prepare documentation to ensure projects are commercially viable and comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Support project risk assessments to proactively identify and mitigate risks; ensure commercial viability.
- Conduct preliminary legal and commercial due diligence, analyze agreements, gather data, and assist in financial analysis and risk assessment.
- Gather and compile information including legal documents, regulatory requirements, and commercial terms to support comprehensive project risk assessments.
- Analyze identified risks ensuring accuracy and meaningful risk assessment reports.
- Prepare well‑organized documentation and materials for effective risk‑management reviews, ensuring timely availability of key information.
- Support pre‑management documentation for new project agreements (MOU, LOI, Framework Agreement, SPA, SBC, etc.) by providing input on key operational, commercial, and financial risks and concern areas; gather relevant information, prepare drafts, and document negotiation points.
- Develop lists of clarifications and qualifications for new project agreements.
- Support development of baselines, standard term sheets, and lessons learned; facilitate contract issue understanding through sharing sessions.
- Support legal and commercial due diligence on potential partners, acquisitions, and projects to assess risks and ensure compliance.
- Review legal and commercial documentation for transactions, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Support risk management programs (ERM, RADM) and activities to ensure effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.
- Support risk assessments, including analysis of data and documentation, to identify vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate actions.
- Support regular risk monitoring (Risk Scorecard, Project Status Report) to ensure mitigation actions are completed timely.
- Support risk reporting and communication strategies to keep senior leadership and stakeholders informed.
- Support financial risk assessment on existing stakeholders (e.g., charterers, partners) on a periodic basis.
- Embed compliance‑related requirements in day‑to‑day operations (DDRA, KYC).
- Monitor compliance activities for NED, assist in proactive assessment of compliance risks.
- Monitor and track implementation of compliance programs such as ISO audits and regulatory updates.
- Facilitate participation of NED staff in compliance training and awareness sessions; support reporting on compliance status.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 6 years of relevant working experience in contract management, shipping operations or other relevant functions.Minimum bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance or any relevant specialization.Seniority level
