Responsibilities
- Lead Financial Planning : Oversee annual budgeting and monthly forecasting to align with strategic and operational goals.
- Performance Analysis : Monitor budget performance, identify variances, and recommend cost-efficiency improvements.
- Cross-functional Collaboration : Work with operational teams to consolidate inputs and validate financial assumptions.
- Reporting & Insights : Prepare and present dashboards and reports highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Strategic Support : Contribute to financial strategy development and support decision-making through accurate forecasting.
- Governance & Risk : Ensure compliance with financial policies, support audits, and conduct financial risk analysis.
The Successful Applicant
A successful FP&A Analyst should have :
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting tools.Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with large data sets.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Knowledge of financial regulations within the energy / natural resources / utilities industry.Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.Must be able to travel extensively out of state in Malaysia.What's on Offer
