Senior FM / FC (Penang)(Manufacturing)(Open to Auditors)

Overview

Are you a highly strategic audit professional ready to lead a company through its next major growth phase? Randstad is partnering with a leading electronics manufacturing in the robotics, electronics, and maker space, and we're looking for a Senior FM / FC to spearhead the preparation for a future public listing.

This is a unique, project-driven role with high visibility, where you will work directly with the CEO, senior management, and external advisors. You won't just be managing finances-you'll be building the foundation for the company future, focused on corporate governance, compliance, and strategic readiness for investor engagement.

What You\'ll Be Doing

IPO & Listing Readiness : You\'ll lead the preparation of financial records, documentation, and internal controls to meet all listing and due diligence requirements. You\'ll work closely with external auditors, tax advisors, and legal counsel to ensure flawless compliance and reporting.

Corporate Governance : Help build out our corporate governance structure by developing and documenting financial policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and robust risk management frameworks. You\'ll be a key part of our board reporting, internal control, and compliance monitoring efforts.

Strategic Financial Analysis : Perform in-depth financial analysis and forecasting to provide critical insights that support strategic decisions. You\'ll ensure data accuracy and timely reporting for the board and senior management.

Stakeholder Coordination : Act as the primary liaison for all external parties involved in the listing process, keeping management and the board up to date on progress, risks, and requirements.

Key Requirements

A degree in Accounting or Finance is essential, with MIA membership preferred.

You should have 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in external audit, corporate reporting, or corporate finance.

Prior exposure to IPO preparation, due diligence, or working with a public-listed company is a strong advantage.

Strong knowledge of MFRS and Malaysian regulatory requirements.

Excellent project management, documentation, and communication skills.

A hands-on, self-driven individual who can work independently with minimal supervision.
