What your typical day will look like
As the Senior Data Scientist, you will lead design, development, and deployment of advanced data science solutions to drive business outcomes. You will apply statistical modelling, machine learning, and marketing analytics to deliver insights across multiple domains while contributing to the team’s advancement in emerging technologies such as Generative AI, automation, and scalable ML infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Model Development & Deployment :
Design and operationalise machine learning models (e.g., churn prediction, segmentation, LTV scoring, recommender systems) using supervised / unsupervised learning, SQL, and cloud technologies (e.g., BigQuery, containerisation, CI / CD). Advanced Analytics & AI Applications :
Apply causal and game-theoretic techniques (e.g., Shapley values) for marketing attribution, and explore generative AI (e.g., LLMs) to enhance analytics workflows and automate insight generation. Stakeholder Collaboration & Insight Delivery :
Translate complex model results into actionable business insights for marketing, commercial, and product teams. Lead discussions, gather requirements, and communicate outcomes effectively. Technical Excellence & Mentorship :
Maintain production-ready codebases, ensure responsible AI practices, and guide junior data scientists on best practices in modelling, exploratory data analysis, and statistical methods.
A bit about you
Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields, with 5+ years of applied data science experience using Python, R, SQL, and Google Cloud (BigQuery, Cloud SQL). Strong foundation in regression, forecasting, probabilistic programming (e.g., Robyn, PyMC), and model interpretability techniques (e.g., Shapley values), with practical experience in building ML models for real business impact. Experience or interest in LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Vertex AI), attribution modelling, MMM, and digital campaign KPIs including customer journey and ROI analysis. Proven ability to translate technical insights into business actions, manage cross-functional stakeholders, write technical documentation, and deliver results independently under tight timelines.
