To support its next phase of transformation, our client is seeking a Finance Director to provide strategic financial leadership, strengthen governance, and drive performance excellence across multiple manufacturing plants and markets.
This is a high-impact leadership role , reporting directly to the Group CEO / CFO , ideal for finance professionals from global MNC or food multinationals seeking broader commercial scope, end-to-end business ownership, and regional exposure.

Job Scope
Strategic Leadership & Governance
Lead overall financial management, reporting, and statutory compliance for the Group, ensuring full alignment with MFRS / IFRS standards.
Provide strategic financial counsel to senior management on capital structure, investment priorities, and performance improvement .
Oversee consolidation, tax, treasury, audit, and cash-flow forecasting , maintaining strong internal controls and risk management frameworks.
Strengthen financial governance and compliance across manufacturing and commercial operations to ensure business sustainability.
Business Performance & FP&A
Drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning across all plants and business units.
Lead the FP&A function to deliver actionable analysis, performance dashboards, and management commentary for strategic decision-making.
Provide insights on sales, gross margin, yield, conversion cost, and working capital to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
Support scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis for new product introductions and market expansion plans.
Manufacturing & Cost Optimisation
Oversee standard costing, cost-per-unit analysis, and production variance analysis (yield, labour, and overhead).
Partner with manufacturing and supply chain teams to identify opportunities for productivity improvement and cost reduction .
Provide financial leadership on CapEx evaluation, ROI analysis, and post-implementation reviews to ensure targeted returns.
Lead finance transformation and process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting accuracy, efficiency, and analytical depth.
Build, mentor, and develop high-performing finance teams with a strong business-partnering culture.
Promote collaboration, accountability, and financial literacy across operations and commercial functions.
Requirements
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with a recognized professional qualification ( ACCA, CPA, CIMA , or equivalent).
Minimum 15 years of progressive finance experience , including at least 5 years in a senior controllership or finance leadership role within food manufacturing.
Multinational Food Industry preferred.
Exposure to board-level decision-making and strategic growth execution.
