Job description
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and evaluate tenant sales performance to measure the effectiveness of current leasing strategies.
Manage lease expirations, renewals, potential tenant risks, and vacant units. Recommend and implement strategies to improve underperforming tenants or trade categories, and support the development of exit plans for at-risk or non-renewing tenants.
Stay actively involved in evolving retail trends and maintain engagement with potential tenants. Support the execution of leasing strategies aimed at optimizing asset occupancy.
Coordinate the onboarding of new tenants, including facilitating move-in processes and addressing initial queries or operational requirements.
Build and sustain strong relationships with tenants, serving as the primary contact for all leasing-related matters, concerns, and communications within the asset.
Participate in cross-mall leasing activities, including outstation travel and site visits, to remain updated on market developments, consumer preferences, and competitive landscapes, adjusting leasing approaches as necessary.
Compile and assess leasing data to detect trends, uncover opportunities, and identify areas needing improvement.
Requirements
Diploma, Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Estate Management, or a related field.
Preferably at least 2 years of experience in property sales and marketing, with a focus on retail leasing.
Strong passion and enthusiasm for the shopping mall industry.
Proficient in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Skilled in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical capabilities.
