Job Description

This role is based in our Menara Skymind office.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly numerate data modeller with strong analytical and statistical skills to join our team in Penang. Working as part of Informa Tech Target’s centralised Advanced Analytics team, the primary role of the senior data modeller will be to manage the production and timely delivery of analytical insights and market predictions covering the Telecoms, Media and Technology Industry.

You will be an experienced modeller with strong model building capabilities and will have a proven track record of compiling market predictions for bespoke / consulting projects. The successful candidate will have experience of presenting to senior level executives and be able to clearly demonstrate their ability to communicate effectively to both our internal and external customers.

In addition, the position demands that you can demonstrate initiative and a flexible yet organised approach to providing analytical insights and predictions across a range of different industry segments and subject areas in response to changing market dynamics. As the role has a commercial element, successful candidates are also expected to be involved in delivering their expertise to clients through direct interaction in the form of presentations, seminars, or face-to-face meetings.
