Job Descriptions :

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons designed specifically around GCSE specifications in French.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Faculty and Assistant Head (Academic) to design and implement a dynamic curriculum.
  • Create a warm and stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation, enthusiasm, and discipline.
  • Set ambitious academic targets that align with the school’s goals, taking into account each student\'s previous achievements and proficiency levels.
  • Provide support for students with special educational needs and English language learners, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to excel.
  • Develop and assign Independent Learning Assignments that inspire and challenge students to reach their full potential.

Tasks Include :

  • Teaching a comprehensive timetable as specified in the school’s curriculum.
  • Keeping accurate records of student assessments and progress to monitor their growth.
  • Providing timely, constructive feedback on assignments and assessments to foster improvement.
  • Engaging with parents during consultation events to discuss student performance and aspirations.
  • Leading or participating in exciting extracurricular activities.
  • Fulfilling pastoral responsibilities within our welcoming boarding house environment.

  • A relevant degree and teaching qualification (such as PGCE).
  • Qualified to teach GCSE French
