POSITION : FRENCH TEACHER

Job Descriptions :

Deliver engaging and effective lessons designed specifically around GCSE specifications in French.
Collaborate closely with the Head of Faculty and Assistant Head (Academic) to design and implement a dynamic curriculum.
Create a warm and stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation, enthusiasm, and discipline.
Set ambitious academic targets that align with the school’s goals, taking into account each student\'s previous achievements and proficiency levels.
Provide support for students with special educational needs and English language learners, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to excel.
Develop and assign Independent Learning Assignments that inspire and challenge students to reach their full potential.

Tasks Include :

Teaching a comprehensive timetable as specified in the school’s curriculum.

Keeping accurate records of student assessments and progress to monitor their growth.

Providing timely, constructive feedback on assignments and assessments to foster improvement.

Engaging with parents during consultation events to discuss student performance and aspirations.

Leading or participating in exciting extracurricular activities.

Fulfilling pastoral responsibilities within our welcoming boarding house environment.

A relevant degree and teaching qualification (such as PGCE).

Qualified to teach GCSE French
