About the Role
We are seeking a talented PCB Designer with mid-level experience to join our automotive team. In this role, you will design and develop printed circuit boards that power innovative automotive technologies. You will collaborate closely with engineers and manufacturers to deliver high-quality PCB designs for production.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize Altium Designer to create and optimize schematics and PCB layouts for single-layer, multi-layer, and high-density designs.
- Design and optimize PCBs for automotive applications, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to develop schematics based on project requirements.
- Perform signal integrity analysis, thermal management, and EMC / EMI considerations in PCB designs.
- Generate and maintain comprehensive documentation, including Gerber files, BOMs, and fabrication notes.
- Ensure accurate documentation and version control for design files.
- Work closely with manufacturers to ensure designs are production-ready and address DFM (Design for Manufacturing) issues.
- Conduct design reviews to ensure functionality, reliability, and quality.
- Conduct prototype testing and make necessary adjustments to PCB layouts.
- Assisting teams in preparing test procedures to verify PCB functions
- Working closely with engineers to create 3D models of circuit boards.
- Stay updated on the latest PCB design tools, technologies, and industry trends.
Qualifications : Essential
A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field3+ years of experience in schematic design and PCB layout.Proficiency in Altium Designer for PCB design and schematic capture.Solid understanding of electronic components and circuit design principles.Experience in designing multi-layer PCBs for automotive or similar industries.Familiarity with design for manufacturability (DFM) processes.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Preferred
Knowledge of automotive industry standards (e.g., ISO 26262, ISO16949, EMC / EMI, IATF process IPC).Experience with thermal and mechanical considerations in PCB design.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Company Benefits & Welfare :
