Project Sales Engineer

Responsibilities

• Drive project sales in water, wastewater, and infrastructure sectors by identifying opportunities and building strong relationships with consultants, contractors, utilities, and end users.
• Provide technical support, including valve / equipment selection, proposals for RFQs / tenders, and participation in meetings, site visits, and technical discussions.
• Work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure accurate, timely delivery and customer satisfaction, while addressing project issues when needed.
• Support marketing activities such as trade shows, presentations, and training, and stay updated on industry standards, competitors, and market trends in Malaysia.

Requirements

• Min. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with min. 3 years of experience in project sales or plant engineering.
• Solid background in valves or related mechanical equipment with proven success in water / infrastructure projects in Malaysia.
• Familiarity with standards such as AWWA, BS, ISO, ASME.
• Proficient in Mandarin & English to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients.
