Job description

Routine Purchase Order (PO), compare price, manage PO & liaise shipping document and Form for tax redemption (if any)

PO & SO issued within 2 working days (target)

Sourcing for new supplier and making a recommendation to Supply Chain Manager

Cost comparison for changes of packaging (alternative supplier / source)

Cost saving model calculation & costing update

Perform cost comparisons and provide recommendations after sourcing and negotiations.

Coordinate the scheduling and delivery of raw / packing materials to ensure a continuous material supply to meet production requirement.

Maintain and update list of approved suppliers and evaluate suppliers according to the plan schedule.

Manage and arrange for Production usage, clear stock, insufficient and report surplus (if any)

Support in keeping a proper minimum inventory stock to support production operations

Monitor the entire supply chain flow, availability and report disruption (if any), involve in data analysis and reporting

Check artwork of the product spec before send for approval to the relevant party

Liaising and follow up with internal & external party for a smooth supply

Retrieving data (historical data), compile, analyze data according to decision direction

Support & assist QC dept for any quality issue or customer complaint that related to packaging material issue

Report aging packagings (shelf life going and before expired)

Report any incidents or issue that unable to resolve it and require to escalate to the next level for problem solving and decision making

Daily process based on UOC's PI to UNT for UNT filling (if applicable)

Pre-alert and inform sales team in advance when order cannot fulfill such as stuffing date & change shipment date.

Refer "Special Order Alert Group" and react to UNT team on the urgent / ad hoc orders and changes of shipment in whatsapp group

Check stuffing date with logistics & provide "UNT Stuffing schedule list" for export salesfrom SAP / Autocount system based on weekly basis

Review of outstanding and open purchase orders in SAP / Autocount system on quarterly basis

Check & verify finish goods and selling price before delivery / shipment out
