Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Investment Analyst 1 at VentureTECH in Cyberjaya. Investment Analyst will be responsible for day-to-day investment management tasks, implementing investment strategies, analyzing investment opportunities, and contributing to financial decision-making processes.
Educational Requirement
- Professional Accounting qualification or a Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, and other relevant fields.
- Preferably a CFA candidate or any other related professional qualification i.e. ACCA, ICAEW.
- A solid foundation in areas such as financial statement analysis, financial modeling, and investment principles is essential, alongside strong analytical and numerical skills.
Required Work Experience
Minimum of 4-5 years related post-qualification experience in the related field (i.e. investment, audit, etc)Qualifications

Assist in deal sourcing i.e. preparing the relevant information, and meeting arrangements. Conduct screening and assessment for new / potential companies, and make a recommendation based on the analysis.Conduct comprehensive research and analysis, including industry and market development, valuation and financial forecast, financial performance, variance analysis, trends, and any other related analysis, using business intelligence data and tools to support investment proposals.Assist in the preparation of investment paper for Management’s / Board Committee(s) / Board’s approval and / or any other related paper.Assist in due diligence processes, including market research, industry benchmarking, and competitor analysis.Assist in reviewing draft agreements, term sheets, and related investment documentation in coordination with internal stakeholders and external legal counsel.Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external advisors to gather relevant data for investment evaluations.Any ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Head / Supervisors as at when required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
