We're Hiring : Software Development Technical Director!

We are looking for an experienced Software Development Technical Director to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of software development processes, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to engage clients effectively.

Location : Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

⏰ Work Mode : Hybrid Working Arrangement

A Hong Kong based software development agency that provides software solutions consulting, web and mobile application development.
They serve a diverse range of industries, including financial services, F&B, retail and consumer goods, technology and telecommunications, media, sports and entertainment.

About the Role

We are seeking a Software Development Technical Director who are experienced in modern web architectures, cloud platforms and strong people management experience.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Development :

Oversee the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions.

Strong background in software architecture (microservices, cloud native development, headless).

Back End Tech Stack : Java Spring Boot, Node JS.

Front End Tech Stack : React JS / Vue JS .

Ensure best practices in DevOps, CI / CD, and cloud technologies.

Technology Strategy & Leadership

Define and implement technology strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Lead the adoption of modern content management, microservices and AI-driven innovations.

Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to drive competitive advantage.

People & Stakeholder Management

Lead and mentor technology teams across Malaysia and Hong Kong, fostering a high-performance culture.

Build and scale teams, ensuring effective talent management and development.

Key Requirements

Strong background in software architecture (microservices, cloud native development, headless).

Back End Tech Stack : Java Spring Boot, Node JS.

Front End Tech Stack : React JS / Vue JS .

Experienced in cloud platforms – AWS, GCP, Azure etc.

Must be able to communicate in Cantonese to liaise with Hong Kong clients.

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
