Role Description

Role Proficiency :

Perform Daily Test Case Execution and Filing Bugs

Outcomes

Complete the assigned test grid without deviations from given test steps
Locate the product failures and report it in test repository and bug tracker

Measures Of Outcomes

Proper update of the test repository and bug database

Number of quality bugs filed

Adherence to schedule / timelines

Adhere to SLAs where applicable

Number of defects post delivery

Number of non-compliance issues

Outputs Expected

Manage Project :

Perform task deliverables with quality; targeting completion timeframe.

Estimate

Estimate time effort and resource dependence for one's own work

Document

Circulate daily status report and update test repository

Status Reporting

Report status of tasks assigned

Compliance with validation standards and process

Skill Examples

Computer hardware and components operation skills

Ability to work with Windows OS flavours and installation

Ability to perform and evaluate test results against product specifications

Ability to estimate effort time required for own work

Ability to perform and evaluate test in the customer or target environment

Work in a team environment

Good written and verbal communication abilities

Knowledge Examples

Good understanding of SDLC & STLC process

Familiar with different types of testing methodologies

Job Description We are looking for engineers who will be responsible to support graphics and linux related issues for post-launch Intel products. In this role, you will be supporting leading graphics, media and display technologies and will be working closing with other software support engineers. Requirements Knowledge of EV validation, CPU architecture. Good understanding of hardware interaction, specifically for Graphics Chipsets, monitors, and display ports Deep knowledge of varied Linux distributions : Ubuntu, Yocto, Redhat, CentOS and Windows OS environment Qualifications Candidates must possess a diploma in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline with 1 - 3 years' experience in technical support.
