Job descriptionBachelor's degree in Engineering or Science; higher degrees preferred. Minimum of 8 years of related experience. Equivalent education and experience may be considered. Intermediate computer, decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills. Strong analytical skills, statistical process control knowledge, and cross-discipline development understanding. Ability to develop good relationships with team members and customers. Experience with lab tools, testing, and measurement equipment is a plus. Physical and travel requirements : Not applicable. This role involves providing technical expertise throughout the manufacturing process, guiding best practices and equipment, optimizing production for efficiency and quality, training teams, supporting ongoing production, ensuring manufacturability of new products, and leading new product introduction processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical specialist, leader, and mentor within manufacturing or cross-discipline teams for product / process development and troubleshooting.
- Lead technical and project teams, providing guidance, managing scope, schedule, and budget to ensure success on manufacturing processes.
- Drive continuous improvement activities within their engineering discipline.
- Lead customer service discussions, business continuity planning, and proposal creation.
