Responsible for providing financial support and performance analysis to the global / regional operations and plant management teams. The role requires an exceptional business partner to drive organizational success through the development and execution of financial strategies. Key responsibilities include managing a team of operational financial analysts / plant controllers, consolidating and analyzing actual results, forecasts, and budgets, conducting monthly plant reviews, product / conversion / material productivity analysis, driving freight / inventory reductions, and supporting capital investments. The position also requires coordination with the regional / global BU supply chain team. What your background should look like :
Job Responsibilities Planning and Budgeting - Assist in annual budget preparation. - Assist in monthly forecast preparation. - Track weekly forecast variance to provide accurate and timely reports. Inventory Risk Tracking / Analysis - Prepare inventory reserves. - Highlight inventory risks and opportunities monthly. - Monitor inventory physical counts to comply with policies and risk controls. Costing Accounting - Data preparation (Material master, Routine, Standard costs). - Month-end JE booking. - PPV analysis. - Material usage analysis. - Production scrap report preparation. FA Accounting - Familiarity with Capital Assets policies and compliance. - Prepare FA management reports (acquisitions, disposals, transfers) and lead fixed assets physical counts. - Issue Asset Tags to responsible departments. - Prepare intercompany transfer data and follow through financial postings. - Track Open PO, IO, CIP reports monthly. - CER review and budget control with reports and management. Other Assignments - Support annual audits with information and justification. - Cross-company support including cost comparison and gross margin optimization. - Support project margin analysis and provide insights to the team. Job Requirements : At least a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, taxation, or related field. Over 4 years of experience in FP&A or finance, managerial experience preferred. Good knowledge and experience in manufacturing costing. - Ability to manage and improve manufacturing variances. Proficiency in SAP. Fluent in English and Mandarin, both written and oral. Strong willingness to learn and develop skills. Excellent attention to detail. Competencies
