- Recommend steps to streamline the process for improved time management and cost-effectiveness.
2. Automate Order Creation and Confirmation Workflows :
Investigate opportunities for automating manual tasks in the transport order creation and confirmation stages using available tools such as ERP, TMS, or Power Automate.Develop automated workflows to reduce human errors, increase speed, and standardize the process of transport order creation and confirmation.3. Define Clear Roles and Responsibilities in the Transport Ordering Process :
Establish and document clear roles and responsibilities for all parties involved in the transport ordering process, including order creation, confirmation, documentation, and follow-up.Ensure that each stakeholder understands their role and the specific expectations related to transport order handling.4. Ensure Accurate and Up-to-Date Customer Requirements :
Identify processes to ensure that all transport orders are linked to accurate and up-to-date customer requirements.Develop systems to capture and track customer requirements that will feed into the Service Level Agreement (SLA), ensuring alignment between customer expectations and transport order execution.5. Implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Transport Ordering :
