Your impact

We are seeking to hire a highly skilled Structural Engineer - Data Center with expertise in datacenter and building projects. Our structural engineers have a proven track record of becoming technical experts, managers and client facing leads. Your key responsibilities are as follows;

  • Experience in complete structural analysis and detailed design of concrete building structures with minimal supervision. Knowledge of Structural Steel design and post-tensioned floor design will be advantageous. Design experience of tall buildings, multi-storey structures, Industrial buildings, Data Center (Optional)
  • Assist Design Manager / Project Manager / Project Structural Lead to complete the task assigned correctly, efficiently and timely manner.
  • Familiarity with latest design standards and detailing requirements.
  • Support / Lead Civil and Structural Design for Green field, Brown field structural projects with minimal supervision
  • Understanding of Malaysian authority submission / permitting process and able to produce submission calculation report and drawings as per latest standards and other requirements
  • Able to coordinate and Work within multi-discipline engineering teams to deliver a coordinated design
  • Involve in Feasibility, Concept, Basic and Detail engineering phases of projects and deliverables as per local code requirements
  • Involve in pre-consultation / discussion with the Authority and approval process
  • Good organization skills and ability to communicate / liaise with various multi disciplines, clients and contractors.
  • Interface with client and other agencies on their review and approval
  • Knowledge of Green mark (LEED / Green Building) , Buildability and Constructability score which related to civil and structural design

Here's what you'll need

  • Bachelor / Master Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 relevant years’ of structural analysis and design experience from conceptual stage till completion of detailed engineering.
  • Advanced level competency of ETABS / SAP 2000 / SAFE / PROKON / STAAD.Pro structural softwares
  • Must have valid work authorization to legally work in Malaysia
