Electrical Technician

Role and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the electrical system
• To perform inspection and repair maintenance for low voltage powers located in switch rooms and power generator
• To ensure all equipment are running in good conditions and no interruption to the supply of electricity
• Carry out periodical preventative maintenance functions on all electrical equipment including troubleshooting of electrical / instrument and control devices, eg. PLC / SCADA
• Attend breakdowns, identify faults, and solve problems with minimal downtime to production
• Attend to all installation, repair, maintenance, dismantling, or any other related equipment's / electrical problems
• Provide technical advice and expertise on mechanical equipment for troubleshooting fault-finding and machinery failure Liaise with contractor / supplier on project activities
• Immediately inform Supervisor / Engineer of any equipment / quality issue / any abnormal condition
• To ensure compliance and enforcement of quality standard and departmental SOP
• To ensure compliance and enforcement of SSHE regulation
• To actively participate in weekly, monthly trainings
• Perform any other duties or undertake additional roles from time to time, whether ad-hoc or otherwise, as assigned by the management
• Assists in other duties as deem necessary as assigned by the Head of Department (HOD)
