Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Project Engineering Technician to support the management and execution of electromechanical and HVAC projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for on-site coordination, technical oversight, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. This role requires strong technical skills, hands-on project experience, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site technical support and coordination for electromechanical and HVAC projects.
- Monitor and report on project progress, quality, and safety throughout the project lifecycle.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation to guide field operations.
- Utilize AutoCAD to review, mark up, or create technical drawings as needed.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve technical issues and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with design specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and compliance records using Office software.
- Assist in the preparation of project schedules, resource plans, and risk assessments.
Qualifications
High school diploma or above; additional technical certification or training is a plus.Minimum of 3 years of experience in electromechanical or HVAC project management or field engineering support.Possession of a mechanical and electrical secondary construction certificate is highly preferred.Proficiency in using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Strong ability to read and interpret engineering and construction drawings.#J-18808-Ljbffr
