Senior DevOps Engineer

Overview

The Senior DevOps Engineer plays a key role in supporting the Product & Technology team across all technical aspects of IT infrastructure and shared services. This role requires a strong hands-on technical foundation, proactive problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset.

Your Day-to-Day

• Ensure high service uptime and reliability for all production infrastructures.
• Actively monitor system performance and activity across production environments.
• Identify and implement opportunities for automation and process improvement.
• Install, administer, and maintain both existing and new system configurations.
• Plan, manage, and maintain development, testing, and production environments with continuous integration (CI) practices.
• Oversee and execute release deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise in a timely manner.
• Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing across teams.
• Provide on-call or standby support during non-office hours to resolve critical incidents.
• Recommend system enhancements and conduct research on emerging technologies to align with the organization’s strategic goals.
• Participate in weekly progress meetings with the line manager.
• Provide dedicated support during project rollouts and deployments.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the line manager.
• Prepare and deliver reports — including system performance, incident management, and service metrics — in accordance with ITIL framework standards.
