Technical Operations Specialist - Claims (Marine Cargo / A&H)

Overview

Technical Operations Specialist - Claims (Marine Cargo / A&H) at Marsh. Location : Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Hybrid work arrangement based on team requirements.

Responsibilities

• Processing General Insurance Claims, including verifying claim documentation, evaluating claim eligibility, determining coverage parameters, and calculating settlements.
• Adjudication and processing of General Insurance claims within defined turnaround times.
• Ensure computed claims settlements and verified reimbursements from insurers are valid.
• Monitor and follow up on unsettled claims with insurers and / or clients to obtain required information.
• Interact with stakeholders to ensure proper execution of tasks.
• Provide advice to clients on policy coverage, claims preparation, and operational questions.
• Prepare monthly claims statistics and update documentation processes.
• Proactively identify problems and provide solutions; participate in initiatives to improve efficiency and productivity of the department.
