Cybersecurity Sales Consultant - APAC Region
APAC-focused cybersecurity sales role requiring leadership in building and expanding a regional sales pipeline for cybersecurity solutions and digital risk management.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of sales experience in cybersecurity solutions, IT security, or digital risk management
- Proven success in :
Generating and qualifying new business leads
Building and maintaining a robust sales pipelineEngaging with Consultants, Partners, EPCs, and End Users across APACExceeding sales targets and driving revenue growthSupporting technical implementation of cybersecurity solutions as neededDemonstrated knowledge of current cybersecurity trends, emerging threats, and best practicesFamiliarity with APAC-specific regulatory requirements (e.g., PDPA, MAS TRM, GDPR, etc.) and compliance standardsStrong networking, prospecting, and relationship-building skillsExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilitiesProficiency in English; additional Asian languages a plusBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related fieldGeneral Characteristics
Serves as the primary sales lead for cybersecurity solutions across the APAC regionOwns relationships with strategic accounts and partners in Singapore, Malaysia, and APAC marketsParticipates in internal initiatives related to market development, sales enablement, and lead generationChampions the company’s cybersecurity offerings and value proposition to drive new businessKeeps abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, threat intelligence, and regulatory changesSupports technical implementation activities to ensure customer success, as requiredProactively identifies, qualifies, and pursues new business opportunities for cybersecurity and digital risk management solutionsBuilds and maintains a strong pipeline of prospects through networking, outbound outreach, events, and digital channelsInitiates and drives sales conversations with consultants, partners, EPCs, and end usersDevelops and executes strategies to expand market presence and win new accountsPresents cybersecurity solutions in a compelling, business-oriented manner, focusing on value, ROI, risk mitigation, and regulatory complianceOwns the sales process from initial contact through qualification, proposal, negotiation, and closingCollaborates with technical teams to tailor proposals and presentations to customer needsSupports technical implementation by coordinating with delivery teams, validating requirements, and ensuring smooth handover when necessaryProvides input and feedback during solution deployment to maximize customer satisfactionContributes sales and technical input to RFP / RFI responsesCybersecurity Expertise
Demonstrates understanding of :Current and emerging cybersecurity threats (e.g., ransomware, phishing, supply chain attacks)
Security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls)Regulatory requirements and compliance obligations in APAC (e.g., PDPA, MAS TRM, GDPR, local laws)Risk assessment, incident response, and vulnerability managementSecurity technologies such as SIEM, endpoint protection, identity & access management, cloud security, and network defenseConducts discovery sessions with clients across APAC to uncover business needs, risks, and regulatory requirementsBuilds and maintains long-term relationships with key decision-makers and influencersDelivers product demonstrations, workshops, and solution walkthroughs with a sales and cybersecurity focusTranslates business requirements into tailored cybersecurity solutions, including technical implementation considerations as neededLeadership Responsibilities
