POSITION OVERVIEW :
The role is responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of contract management. The role scope involves drafting, reviewing, and executing contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards, and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders in Alcon Japan market. The role is also monitors contract performance and resolves any issues that arise
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Contract Creation and Administration :
Drafting, reviewing, and executing contracts to ensure they meet company policies and legal requirements
Overseeing contracts from creation to execution and renewal, ensuring meeting all terms and conditions
Ensuring accuracy and clarity in contract terms
Collaboration and Communication :
Collaborate closely with surgical teams, contract group, and legal teams to understand contract needs and requirements
Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on contract-related matters
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure smooth contract execution
Compliance and Risk Management
Ensure all contracts adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies
Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with contracts
Maintain accurate records of all contracts and related documentation
Documentation and Record Keeping
Maintaining accurate and comprehensive records of all contract-related activities and providing regular reports to stakeholders
Maintaining organized records for easy access and reference
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON :
Minimum Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Healthcare Management, or a related field. Certification in contract management is a plus
Minimum 5 years working experience in Customer Service Support and / or Finance and / or Commercial and / or Contract Management
Japanese Language proficiency level N1 or N2
Familiar with Salesforce, DocuSign, Macro and Advance Excel
Proven experience in contract management, preferably in the healthcare or medical equipment industry with good understanding of medical / surgical equipment contract agreement process

Organizational Skills : Ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines efficiently
Legal Knowledge : Understanding of contract law and regulatory requirements
Critical Thinking Skills : Ability to resolve contract-related issues effectively
Strong Negotiation Skills : Ability to negotiate favorable terms and conditions. Patience when managing tough cases
Interpersonal Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders. Excellent collaboration, adaptability to change and ability to assess situation
