Job Description

• Lead Junior Planners
• Coordinate the planning functions for the Assembly and Test suppliers / partners.
• Drive a systematic process to receive, evaluate and fulfill Business Unit’s demand across the supplier / partner sites.
• Oversee the disposition and transfer of residual inventory to the appropriate “receiving” Microchip factory.
• Understand and participate in the development and deployment of materials strategies appropriate to the business unit, in concert with the Tactical Planning and the Corporate Planning Manager(s) / Director.
• Demonstrate a commitment to provide solutions and drive the global assembly and test partners for improvement in delivery schedules and problem solving.
• Anticipate, meet and / or exceed business unit’s requirements by solving problems quickly and effectively.
• Make internal customer issues a priority.
