Job Overview
Associate – Information Technology supports IT operations, ensuring availability, security, and efficiency of systems, infrastructure, and applications.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support for end-users on hardware, software, and network issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT incidents to minimize downtime and maintain logs of support requests.
- Assist in maintaining servers, network equipment, and IT infrastructure; perform routine monitoring and preventive maintenance.
- Support updates, upgrades, patches, and backup processes for system integrity.
- Maintain inventory of IT assets; liaise with vendors for procurement, maintenance, and warranty claims.
- Support IT security measures, monitor incidents, promote cybersecurity awareness.
- Support rollout of new systems, participate in testing, deployment, and post-implementation reviews.
- Conduct user training sessions; prepare reports on operations, metrics, and project progress.
- Assist in preparing technical documentation and procedural guidelines.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor or Head of Department.
Education and Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in IT support or system administration.Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and troubleshooting methodologies.Familiarity with cloud systems, cybersecurity principles, software, and hardware installation and maintenance.Microsoft 365 Administrator, ITIL and / or TOGAF certification preferred.Good command of spoken and written Malay and English.Preferred Skills
Familiar with Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Familiar with CompTIA A+ / Network+.Application Questions
