Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated Instrument Engineer to join our team. The role covers both project construction and factory operation phases, focusing on automation systems, instrumentation, and control systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, hands‑on problem‑solving skills, and the ability to support stable, safe, and efficient plant operations.

Project Construction Period

Participate in the review of automation engineering design documents.
Manage procurement planning for automation equipment and materials.
Assist the installation manager in supervising instrument installation quality, progress, and final acceptance.
Debug and commission various instruments and control systems (DCS, PLC, GDS).

Factory Operation Period

Develop and implement automation equipment management systems, operation / maintenance procedures, and instrument records.

Maintain technical archives, drawings, documents, and repair records.

Formulate inspection and maintenance plans for instruments and control systems; troubleshoot operational faults.

Ensure automation equipment reliability for safe, efficient, and environmentally friendly production.

Define calibration cycles, schedules, and manage external calibration liaison.

Manage spare parts inventory for automation and control systems.

Prepare and oversee preventive maintenance plans for instruments and control systems.

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Automation, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Experience with plant automation, DCS / PLC systems, calibration & maintenance.

Familiar with engineering project construction and plant operation environments.

Strong problem‑solving skills, with attention to safety, efficiency, and compliance.

Good communication skills in English (Mandarin is an advantage for China‑based projects).
