Purchasing Executive

Responsibilities

• Review level of current inventory, forecast order quantities based on stock level and sales information, execute replenishment for outlets and online sales.
• Conduct regular store visits to ensure that store's merchandising standards are met.
• Check and follow-up on replenishment request by stores.
• Analyse market information to identify product trends, price trends, and opportunities in order to develop competitive products and pricing for customers.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and conditions regularly to protect the best interests of the company and its customers.
• Determine the best vendors and best deals through comparison of price, quality, availability, reliability, contract terms, distribution cost and service.
• Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Communicate company’s expectations to suppliers and perform business reviews with key suppliers, working on strategies and action plans by negotiating terms of contract such as consignment.
• Provide consultation about health issues, symptoms and medications in response to customer enquiries.
• Compound and dispense prescribed pharmaceuticals in retail outlets and sell non‑prescription medicines and related goods including supplements and organic food.
• Order, sell and control medicines and other stocks relevant to pharmacy, including wholesales.
• Ensure store daily operation runs smoothly, coordinating with other staff or team work to achieve targeted sales.
• Ensure Poison B and C SKU rationalization is followed, including all other legal requirements.
• Can work independently.
• Licenced pharmacists are encouraged to apply.
