Merchandiser Executive / Buyer / Allocator

Responsibilities

The main role is to assist in the merchandising department to arrange stocks and move merchandise between warehouse to store, store to store, and warehouse to store. The merchandiser is responsible for ensuring that product appears in the store at the appropriate time as planned by principal and merchandising team and in the correct quantities. This involves working closely within the team as well as all supporting departments to accurately forecast sales trends, plan stock level and monitor market momentum. The Merchandiser also plays a key role in maximizing profitability by working closely with the warehousing team for planning merchandise allocation and distribution of stock, coordinating with the store for item quality control, preparing merchandising reports, and controlling / verifying stocks. The role requires hands‑on involvement with merchandising planning, stock allocation & distribution, and coordination with store operations and visual merchandising team on seasonal launches.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities
• Relevant degree or certification in merchandising, business, or a related field is a plus
• Applicants with prior similar experience are highly preferred
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Chinese speaker is an added advantage
• Chinese speaking candidate preferred to manage our Chinese stakeholders
