Social Commerce & Creator Executive (Malay Market)

Jipinhe Scones is a JAKIM HALAL CERTIFIED Food & Beverages franchise brand established in Shanghai, China, in 2008, with over 400 outlets nationwide. Specializing in traditional Chinese cuisine, the brand offers an array of authentic products, including China-style scones, handmade classic noodles, and traditional Chinese desserts. Dedicated to authentic flavors, Jipinhe Scones uses fresh ingredients and traditional recipes to bring a taste of China to Malaysia.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Social Commerce & Creator Executive (Malay Market) located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. Key responsibilities include : manage TikTok Shop operations, host and support live sessions, and collaborate with Malay-market creators for campaigns and reviews. Create engaging Malay-oriented content for TikTok and Lemon8, and assist with offline events to drive brand engagement and sales.

Qualifications

  • Proven abilities in Commerce, Sales, and driving social commerce growth, especially TIKTOK
  • Strong Analytical Skills for market research, data analytics, and performance tracking
  • Excellent Communication skills for building and fostering relationships with creators and stakeholders
  • Customer Service experience to ensure optimal customer satisfaction and engagement
  • Familiarity with the Malay market, fluency in Bahasa Malaysia, and proficiency in English
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
  • Experience in content creation or working with influencers in social marketing is a plus

Job Responsibilities :

1. TikTok Shop Management

  • Oversee daily operations of the TikTok Shop, including product uploads, pricing updates, promotions, order coordination, and customer inquiries.
  • Monitor shop performance metrics and propose strategies to increase traffic, engagement, and sales conversion.

    • 2. TikTok Live Hosting & Support

  • Assist in planning and executing TikTok Live sessions, including preparing scripts, product highlights, promotional activities, and engagement strategies.
  • Coordinate with live hosts and ensure smooth technical and operational flow during live sessions.

    • 3. KOL / KOC Collaboration for Group Buys & Food Reviews (Malay Market)

  • Identify and engage Malay-market KOLs / KOCs for group buy campaigns, product reviews, and content partnerships.
  • Manage collaboration timelines, negotiate deliverables, track performance, and build strong creator relationships.

    • 4. Online Content Creation (Malay-Oriented Photo & Video)

  • Create engaging short videos, photos, and social media content tailored for the Malay audience.
  • Handle basic shooting, editing, and creative ideation to support marketing campaigns and product storytelling.

    • 5. Social Media Management (Lemon8 & TikTok)

  • Manage and grow the brand’s presence on Lemon8 and TikTok by posting consistent, high-quality content.
  • Develop content calendars, monitor trends, engage with followers, and track performance analytics for continuous improvement.

    • 6. Offline Event Planning & Support (Malay Related)

  • Assist in organizing and executing Malay-market offline events such as community activities, product sampling, roadshows, or cultural campaigns.
  • Handle event logistics, setup coordination, and onsite support to ensure successful brand activation.

    • What we’re looking for :

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a marketing or content creation role, preferably within the food / beverage industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for crafting compelling, persuasive content
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and techniques, including social media, SEO, PPC and email marketing
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed, data-driven decisions
  • Demonstrated creativity and innovative thinking to develop unique, attention-grabbing marketing campaigns
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines
  • A passion for the food and beverage industry and a genuine interest in our scone products
