About the job
- Access claims in accordance with the policy terms and conditions.
- Efficient claims handling to meet cycle time targets and ensure accurate payments.
- Handle agents and client enquiries and complaints.
- Coordinate with other branches to ensure smooth claims handling.
- Attend to any other tasks assigned from time to time.
- Compile claims cycle time statistics.
- Supervise and develop subordinates.
- Establish, maintain and update proper documentation and claim guidelines, policies, and processing procedures.
- Take accountability for business and regulatory compliance risks and mitigate them effectively.
- Stay aware of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats, and technologies to understand risks and safeguard the company.
- Highlight potential concerns / risks and share best risk‑management practices proactively.
Qualifications
A university degree in any discipline, preferably in healthcare, health administration, or insurance‑related practice, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a life‑insurance company or large organization.Insurance industry knowledge, insurance products knowledge, claims practice expertise, strong business communication skills, analytical skills, and leadership ability.High level of integrity, accountability, and teamwork.Self‑initiative to improve current processes and adaptability to embrace changes.How you succeed
