Job descriptionStrong knowledge of Linux operating systems (CentOS, Ubuntu, Red Hat, etc.). Experience with shell scripting (Bash, Perl) and automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef). Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.). Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus) and logging solutions (ELK stack). Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues effectively. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Description
We are looking for a skilled Linux Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Linux-based systems, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux-based systems and servers.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability.
- Automate system tasks using shell scripting and configuration management tools.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance on Linux servers.
- Ensure system security and compliance with industry standards.
- Perform regular backups and recovery procedures.
- Document system configurations and updates for future reference.
