Overview
We are seeking a Corporate & Project Accountant to support our finance operations, project costing, and corporate finance functions. The role reports to the Group Finance Director and works closely with project teams to ensure accurate financial planning, fund allocation, and policy compliance.
Responsibilities
- Assist in Project Costing and Financial Tracking
Prepare and maintain cost schedules for each project.
Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and variances on an ongoing basis.Ensure accurate allocation of costs across projects in line with approved budgets.Provide analysis of cost performance, highlight discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions.Collaborate with project managers to track milestones and associated financial impact.Support Corporate Finance FunctionsAssist in planning and allocation of funds for projects and corporate initiatives.
Support fund sourcing activities and maintain accurate documentation.Analyze cash flow requirements and coordinate with Group Finance Director for fund disbursements.Ensure compliance with corporate financial policies during fund allocation.Draft, Review, and Maintain SOPs and PoliciesDevelop and maintain finance-related SOPs, ensuring alignment with company standards.
Review existing processes for efficiency, risk mitigation, and compliance.Assist in policy formulation related to project finance, cost control, and corporate finance procedures.Support training and communication of SOPs to relevant stakeholders.Prepare Financial Reports, Budgets, and ProjectionsPrepare weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports on project and corporate finance activities.
Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts for projects and corporate finance.Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to management.Support preparation of board-level financial summaries and presentations.Liaise with Project Teams for ComplianceAct as the finance point-of-contact for project teams, ensuring adherence to financial policies.
Review and validate project-related expenses, contracts, and invoices.Provide guidance on financial procedures and approvals required.Facilitate smooth communication between project teams and corporate finance function.Requirements
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or project finance.Strong knowledge of corporate finance, budgeting, and costing.Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., Autocount, SAP, QuickBooks).Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently.Details
