UOB Innovation Hub 2 (InnoHub 2) is a newly set up technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur as part of UOB Group Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation.

Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly motivated and accountable  DevOps Automation Engineer  to join our IT Infrastructure team. This hybrid role blends  50% traditional System Administration  responsibilities with  50% automation engineering , focusing on improving operational efficiency, security posture, and scalability through tools like  Chef, Ansible, and Terraform .

Key Responsibilities :

System & Security Administration (50%)

• Perform system hardening and enforce security baselines across Linux / Windows environments.
• Manage user lifecycle operations (creation, modification, deactivation) in compliance with access control policies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Ensure compliance with internal security standards and external regulations.

Automation & Infrastructure as Code (50%)

Incident Management & Root Cause Analysis

Cross-Functional Collaboration
