Overview
Lead and oversee the company’s overall operations in Malaysia, ensuring strategic growth, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance. Drive cross-departmental collaboration to achieve annual business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership : Formulate and implement the company’s strategic development plan for the Malaysian market. Set annual sales, marketing, and operational targets for each department. Monitor industry trends and competition to adjust strategies proactively.
- Operations Management : Oversee day-to-day operations across all departments (Franchise, Sales, Marketing, Technical, Customer Service, Finance / HR / Admin). Ensure alignment between departments, resolve cross-functional issues, and optimize workflows. Manage major contracts, investments, and business partnerships.
- Talent & Culture : Develop a strong leadership team, mentor department managers, and promote a performance-driven culture. Manage key hires and oversee talent development initiatives.
- Stakeholder Engagement : Maintain relationships with investors, government agencies, and strategic partners. Represent the company at public events, trade fairs, and industry associations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Management, or related field; MBA preferred.8+ years senior management experience in Malaysia with proven success in operations and business growth.Strong leadership, strategic planning, and cross-functional management skills.Familiarity with Malaysian business regulations, finance, HR, and marketing practices.Excellent English / Malay communication skills; Mandarin proficiency preferred to serve Mandarin-speaking customers.High adaptability, integrity, and ability to lead organizational change.Be careful - Don’t provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
