Senior Manager Legal

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive and strategic legal advice to senior management and other stakeholders on a broad range of legal matters.
• Analyse and interpret complex legal issues, legislation, and regulations impacting the ground handling service industry.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts and agreements, including service agreements, vendor contracts, and partnership agreements.
• Ensure all contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Develop and implement legal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Identify and assess legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.
• Oversee compliance audits and manage regulatory filings.
• Manage and resolve legal disputes and litigation, working with external counsel as necessary.
• Represent the company in negotiations, mediations, and other dispute resolution processes.
• Support the board of directors and executive team in corporate governance matters.
• Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of corporate records.
• Lead and mentor a team of legal professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and capabilities of the legal team.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, industry bodies, and business partners.
• Serve as the primary legal point of contact for key projects and initiatives.
• Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and recommendations.
