Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Overview

As the Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer , you will report directly to the Head of Cloud Platform, and work on setting up and maintaining a robust and highly automated cloud infrastructure. You will be part of the team in building from scratch our cloud-native capability, with a focus on optimizing for cost, enabling software developers to develop quickly, with a strong focus on automation and cloud-native cybersecurity practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical hands-on ability
• Work closely with Head of Cloud Platform and other seniors to design and set up the cloud infrastructure to support data science / AI development, software development as well as production environments, with cost, cybersecurity and infrastructure-as-code as key considerations
• Working collaboratively with other teams and enabling professional growth and learning
• Build and maintain cloud monitoring and automation solutions to improve daily operations
• Develop a self-service model that treats data scientists and software developers as customers and empowers software developers to develop in an agile manner with the right governance guardrails
• Implement observability, monitoring and alerts to enable real time monitoring of cloud environments.
