About the role
The Category Business Lead will take full responsibility for driving the performance, growth, and profitability of the assigned category and its brands. This role is a full P&L ownership position, requiring a strategic yet hands-on leader who can manage all aspects of business operations – from sales and marketing to regulatory compliance and supply chain management.
The successful candidate will be accountable for setting direction, leading execution, and ensuring that all business and financial KPIs are met or exceeded, while positioning the category for sustainable long-term growth.
Drive Strategy & Growth : Lead category strategy, identify growth opportunities, and turn vision into action.
Own Commercial Success : Oversee sales, marketing, supply chain, and regulatory operations to deliver results.
Lead Financial Performance : Maximize revenue, margins, and market share while managing budgets and forecasts.
Champion Brand Development : Balance core, innovation, and renovation to build a winning portfolio.
Ensure Operational Excellence : Partner across teams to maintain compliance, availability, and efficiency.
Inspire & Empower Teams : Build and lead a high-performing team with a culture of innovation and accountability.
Proven experience in category leadership, P&L ownership, and cross-functional management.
