About the role

We are seeking a talented Assistant Manager or Finance Manager to join the team at BA UTILITIES SDN. BHD. In this full-time position, you will play a key role in the financial management and strategic direction of our organization.

Key Responsibilities :

Interpret, develop, and execute the company's financial strategies, including planning, organizing, analyzing, and implementing optimal financial practices.
Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.
Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, as well as oversee cash flow and budgeting activities.
Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, standards, and legislation.
To review the accounting systems and maintenance of financial and accounting records.
Provide financial advice and guidance to senior management and department heads.
Supervise, coach, and mentor finance team members to enhance their capabilities and performance.
Perform any other related tasks as required by management.

Qualifications :

Candidate must possess a professional degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably within the construction industry.

Proficiency in financial software and spreadsheet applications.

Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and financial management principles.

Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Proven leadership and team management capabilities.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

Experience with AutoCount System will be an added advantage.
