Senior Data Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team at STRATEQ GROUP . As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust data infrastructure and pipelines to support the company's data-driven initiatives. This is a full-time position based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor .

Key Responsibilities

• Perform complex data modeling to accommodate data warehouse, data lake, and enterprise data hub requirements.
• Design, develop, and maintain data models and data pipelines using data fabric / ETL tools.
• Ensure data governance and security practices are maintained according to organizational policies and regulations.
• Provide technical guidance to junior team members, ensuring knowledge transfer and continuity.
• Provide technical training to clients.
• Document processes, standards, and best practices.
• Participate in pre-sales activities.
• Provide ongoing support to clients, ensuring they can fully leverage the solutions provided.
• Commit to project timelines and deliverables effectively.
• Work closely with internal teams and project managers to ensure solutions align with business objectives.
• Other duties as requested by the Reporting Officer or HOD.
