Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our commercial team. This role is focused on identifying and reaching out to new prospects, driving engagement through outbound campaigns, and ensuring our Business Development team has a strong pipeline of qualified leads to pursue.
Objectives
As an SDR at Abi, you will play a crucial role in fuelling our commercial growth by generating and nurturing outbound opportunities. You'll be responsible for researching and finding leads, managing outreach campaigns, and ensuring our CRM is up to date and accurate. You will also support broader sales and marketing initiatives, working closely with our Business Development and Marketing teams to ensure seamless execution and reporting.
- Research and identify new prospects, gathering key information such as emails, LinkedIn profiles, and relevant background
- Execute outbound outreach campaigns (email, LinkedIn, and other channels) to generate initial engagement
- Warm up leads before passing them to the Business Development team for follow-up
- Track and report progress on outreach campaigns, providing metrics and insights on performance
- Maintain clean and up-to-date data in HubSpot CRM
- Support ad-hoc sales and marketing initiatives including HubSpot audits, award submissions, conference booking paperwork, social posts / engagement, and inbound inbox triage
Tasks
Collaborate with the Business Development team to align on target segments and outreach prioritiesOrganize, launch, and monitor multi-step outbound campaignsGenerate regular reports on pipeline-building activities and campaign outcomesKeep HubSpot updated with new contacts, engagement activity, and lead statusConduct light research on marketing opportunities with clients and industry eventsAssist with conference bookings and award submissions as neededSupport the Marketing team with occasional social content and engagement activitiesRequirements
You are available for a full-time role based in Malaysia with occasional travel, as required.

Have 3-5+ years of experience in sales development, lead generation, or related rolesPossess strong written communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)Be proficient with HubSpot (or similar CRM) and outbound prospecting toolsShow familiarity with outbound email, LinkedIn outreach, and campaign managementBe detail-oriented, data-driven, and comfortable tracking metricsPreferably have prior exposure to B2B sales or marketing functionsBenefits
