Credit Executive

Role Overview :

The Credit Executive / Senior Executive will be reporting to the Group Finance Director and will be responsible for setting up and maintaining robust credit frameworks to support the company's private credit operations. This role oversees the full credit lifecycle, ensuring loan applications are properly assessed, documented, monitored, and recovered in line with internal risk appetite and regulatory requirements. The position requires close coordination with internal teams, finance, and clients to maintain sound portfolio quality and compliance.

Job Description :

• Set up and maintain credit policies, workflows, and approval processes.
• Assess loan applications and responsible for the accuracy and completeness for the customer loan application before submitting to finance department.
• Prepare and present credit proposals for approval in accordance with risk appetite.
• Oversee full loan lifecycle : application → approval → documentation → disbursement → monitoring → collection → recovery.
• Monitor repayment performance, identify early warning signals, and recommend risk mitigation actions.
• Support collection and recovery efforts for overdue accounts.
• Ensure compliance with lending regulations, AML / CFT requirements, and internal policies.
• Handling private credit client's enquiries from all communication channels (eg. : email, call, WhatsApp & etc)
