ROLE OVERVIEW
Supports the organization in ensuring effective risk management, regulatory compliance, and adherence to corporate governance frameworks. This role is responsible for assisting in identifying, assessing, monitoring, and reporting risks across the business while supporting governance initiatives that strengthen accountability, transparency, and ethical practices.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Sustainability
- To assist in planning and executing Sustainability and CSR activities across the Group to increase brand equity / value / credibility and demonstrate the business value of Sustainability and CSR, and improve awareness of CSR across the Group.
- To coordinate yearly CSR activities and present the budget to the Management.
- Manage, track, and report on the progress of the above.
Health, Safety, Environment (HSE)
To assist in planning and executing HSE practices to ensure alignment with global safety policy and local safety standards.Drive and manage the learning and development of HSE in the Group.Drive self learning and improvement in the workplace as part of continuous learning.Risk Management
Assist in planning, designing, and implementing the overall risk management process of the Company.Providing support, education, and training to staff to build risk awareness in the Company.Liaising with the Head of Departments to understand and manage the risks that might affect their departments / business.Assist in working with all departments to develop and maintain a corporate-wide BCP program that addresses business recovery and emergency response plan management.Business Continuity Management
Planning, designing, and implementing an overall BCM of the Group.Ensure that BCP as a whole is updated and functioning.Group Policies Management (Governance)
Initiate, coordinate, and maintain the mandatory annual policy review by policy owners on the Group Policies Management.Updating of all policies and procedures of the Group to ensure that all information disseminated is up to date and relevant.To assist in the drafting of new policies and procedures for the Group.To ensure that all policies and appendices are updated and posted in the Company portal.Custodian of all signed copies of the Operating, Board, and Management policies.QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Corporate Governance, Law, or a related field.Minimum 3–5 years of relevant working experience in risk management, corporate governance, compliance, sustainability, HSE, or related areas.Good understanding of risk management frameworks, business continuity planning (BCP), sustainability, CSR, and governance practices.Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills with attention to detail.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with various departments.Good communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).#J-18808-Ljbffr
