Overview

Director, Global Safety & Health at Micron Technology leads the global safety and health strategy to safeguard employees worldwide. The role manages cross-functional teams, ensures compliance with international regulations, and fosters a proactive safety culture across the organization. Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership : Develop and implement a global safety and health strategy aligned with company goals and sustainability objectives. Program Development & Oversight : Develop and manage global safety programs, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and incident prevention. Compliance & Regulatory Affairs : Supervise and ensure adherence to safety and health regulations at the international, national, and local levels. Incident Management : Lead investigations of safety incidents, conduct root cause analyses, and drive corrective actions. Engagement with Collaborators : Work with site leaders, HR, legal, and operations to integrate safety and health into business processes. Coordinate global safety training programs. Establish benchmarks and dashboards to monitor safety performance. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental Science, or related field (Master’s or equivalent experience preferred). Over a decade of health and safety experience, including a minimum of 5 years in leadership on a global scale. Deep understanding of international safety regulations and standards. Proven ability to lead cross-cultural teams and drive global initiatives. Strong analytical, communication, and collaborator management skills. International travel required.
